1. Anything you buy in the store can be returned with no receipt for store credit, IF you have an ID. Plus, you can get a full refund with a receipt, even if the product is used.
2. Most Sephora shoppers know this, but for new people: Anyone can become a Beauty Insider, to rack up points, $1 = 1 point, it can go toward 100-point, 250-point or 500-point gifts of free stuff.
3. The new released products and the more expensive ones are in the eye level shelf. If you are a student and want previous products check the bottom shelves
4. People who buy products by $350 annually reach VIB, Very Important Beauty Insider. It mostly gives you a free makeover and amazing invitations to in-store events!
5. There is also a VIB Rouge for people who spend $1,000 or more a year. VIB Rouge members get lots of special treatment such as, free shipping, a beauty concierge for advice, and unlimited free makeovers.
6. If an item goes on sale within two weeks of purchase, you can give a call to the store’s customer service line and they will refund the differences.
7. Every shopper IS SUPPOSED to leave with samples of products that the buyer hasn't used and wants to try. Keep on giving hints to a cast member for a product that you want to try.
8. Sephora is a “teaching store.” Ask a knowledgable employee to do a “half face” on you. This means that they would teach you and apply makeup on one side of your face and then you will have to put makeup on the other side of your face.
9. Sephora doesn’t have lots of sales, but sale items do exist. They can be found edges of the store, or in bins at the end of product displays. Try looking for them!
10. Visit their website! There are a lot of samples and codes that you can get for free.
